Chapter 1040: Chapter 1041 Taking Down a Boring One Chapter 1040: Chapter 1041 Taking Down a Boring One She was preparing to pack clothes for the children.
“Right, the factory manager also said there’s no need to bring clothes, she has already prepared everything. Just bring the summer vacation homework.”
Upon hearing this, Yun Men paused for a moment.
“Mom, is Aunt really letting us go to Kyoto? I’ve never been to Kyoto before,” Little Zhuzi said with some longing and anticipation for Kyoto.
“Hurry up and pack your summer vacation homework. When we get to Kyoto, don’t cause any trouble for your aunt, no fighting, don’t ask for snacks, got it?”
The children were all immersed in their joy and didn’t hear what their mom had said.
They skipped lunch and, after changing into a new set of clothes, the three children followed the driver and left with their schoolbags.
This scene, of course, reached the ears of those who were interested.
And soon enough it reached Yun Mothers’ ears.
“Old man, did you hear? Hanhan sent someone to take Xiaomen’s three children to Kyoto for the summer vacation?” Yun Mother could not leave her home now due to rearing pigs and chickens and cultivating several mu of rice paddy.
“Last year, Little Huzi spent the summer at Xiaomen’s home, and this year Little Zhuzi and his siblings are going to Kyoto, and there’s nothing wrong with that.”
Yun Father didn’t see anything amiss with the situation.
Yun Mother found no interest in discussing further with Yun Father.
Their son used to write them letters, but ever since the incident with their second son, their third son stopped writing to them.
Even when Hanhan sent them alimony last year, it was only money that was transferred.
What Yun Father and Yun Mother didn’t know was that it was Yun Hao who sent the money, not Meng Yunhan.
If Meng Yunhan sent money, she would definitely have mailed some other things as well, but Yun Hao wasn’t Meng Yunhan, and for certain things, he simply ignored.
The truck carrying Little Zhuzi and his siblings took two days to get to Kyoto.
And it delivered them right to the factory manager’s home.
Meng Yunhan had timed it to be at home.
After the person safely delivered the children, she thanked them profusely before sending them off.
“Little Zhuzi, Little Shitou, Niuniu…”
All three little ones called out in unison, “Auntie!”
Meng Yunhan noticed their clothes; it was hot weather, and going a day without a bath was uncomfortable.
“Are you hungry? Let’s have a meal first, then take a bath and nap. Did any of you feel carsick on the way here?”
Niuniu had a pale little face, “A little bit carsick.”
After they ate, they remembered they hadn’t seen Little Huzi.
“Auntie, where’s Little Huzi?”
Meng Yunhan said with a smile, “Little Huzi has gone to study calligraphy; he won’t be back until later this afternoon. Once you’ve had your bath and a nap, Little Huzi will be back.”
The two boys could bathe themselves, while Meng Yunhan bathed Little Niuniu.
The weather was hot, and just by carrying a bucket of water into the yard, it would heat up in the sun in less than an hour.
All three children felt a bit constrained because this place was so beautiful–there were vegetables in the yard, flowers, and even fish.
They also saw a television, and they found everything fascinating.
After their baths, Meng Yunhan let Niuniu sleep in her room with a fan on, while Little Zhuzi and Little Shitou went to Little Huzi’s room, which also had fans.
“Auntie, it’s so cool.” Little Niuniu remembered there was a fan at Grandma’s house, but hadn’t seen one in anyone else’s.
“Sleep now, get a good rest.”
Meng Yunhan then washed their clothes and hung them out to dry.
